Church-State Relations After the Fall of Communism

Our new volume, entitled,  Church-State Relations After the Fall of Communism, and containing 10 articles from an equal number of E. Orthodox and Evangelical authors, just came off the press (2013).

The articles are based on the conference we held in May last year (2012). The volume addresses the way both evangelicals and Orthodox do and should relate to the secular state in the post-communist era. I had the privilege to be the editor and compiler of this work of renown Bulgarian Orthodox and Protestant (evangelical) thinkers. You can see the book, among our other publications, on one of our webpages in Bulgarian; and even order a copy but be aware that only three pages are in English – the title page and the table of contents.

UPDATE, 2019:

Since 2013 our ministry published 2 more volumes, addressing the issues of church-state relations in contemporary Bulgaria and freedom of religion and speech.

Christianity and Politics: Cooperation or Conflict (2015) and Christianity and National Security: Post-communist, Historical, and Biblical Context (2017).
