Religious Liberty
The freedom to believe in God and preach His word are still curtailed by the state and media in post-communist Bulgaria

Religious liberty is often wrongly viewed as a political cause rather than a Christian ministry. Yet if taken with the right attitude the cause of religious liberty can actually help in reaching people with the values of Christian freedom and the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. The purpose of this helping ministry is to promote freedom of religion for the missional church in post-communist society.

This work entails publishing an online magazine with relevant religious freedom information and analysis on issues of religious liberty, freedom of speech and freedom of conscience in Bulgaria. The publication is Freedom for All and provides a platform for dialogue on religious liberty in the nation. Viktor is the editor of the online magazine. We publish four issues a year. He also writes reports and articles on the religious laws in Bulgaria and on the proper view of church-state relations for Christian and secular newspapers.

Viktor also provides counsel and representation for Christian pastors and churches whose right to freedom of faith and speech have been violated. For more info read the prayer letters.

Our Ministry to Youth and Orphans has changed!

Unfortunately, due to change in administration in the state-run orphan homes, and hostile attitude by certain higher administrators we have discontinued our work in these homes (2006-2008). As a result God led us to start a new ministry by which we seek to reach out to the teen youth and young adults in the town of Vidin, NW Bulgaria. It is conducted on private rented facilities and there is no partnership with the state-run institutions. We call this work "Vertical Reality" Youth Club and it is in place since March 2009.

Why did we stop the ministry to kids in state-run orphan homes?

Bible Teaching and Discipleship

This work is meant to provide training and resources to build the faith and commitment of local churches and individual Christians

In our day and age of materialism and high-tech idolatry the church is more than ever in need of solid Spirit-filled and Bible-based teaching and ministry. Currently Viktor teaches twice a month at the church in Vidin and helps lead a daily Bible study on weekdays.

Since 2002 part of our ministry has been to travel to various churches several times a year with a teaching and ministry team. We teach the Word, encourage people to follow Christ, and challenges the church to return to God’s New Testament standards. We believe that both growth in character and spiritual gifts can help toward a full maturity in the Lord. This work of encouragement for believers to grow in Christian gifting and character we call a prophetic ministry.

The format for the team ministry is what we call Prophetic Conferences at local churches. These are usually two-three days of Bible teaching, prayer and ministry. In the past we have also held Prophetic Schools, usually in Sofia. Believers with stronger interest in growth as disciples of Christ come for a 3-day, 9-session seminar.

Publishing of Christian literature is yet another way for training and making disciples. Viktor developed the web site in Bulgarian with books we have published and free resources for Christians who want to grow in their relationship with Jesus. All materials are being produced along the lines of the team's ministry.
