The study of the Bible with prayer and guidance of the Holy Spirit is critical for building up faith and works for the glory of God for every follower of Christ. I have found these online tools for Bible study quite helpful. These all external website to us and we are not responsible for their content, although we think they are generally helpful resources.

How to become a disciple of Christ

Becoming a disciple of Jesus Christ is the most important decision in one’s life. It is literally a matter of life or death. If you came across my website accidentally and are looking for answers about God, and how to be saved from sin and the curse of death, you may want to consider these pages on the web (until I post my own page dealing with the matter):

The best way to be “born from above” is to go to the source. Read Jesus’ words in chapter 3 of the Gospel of John. During questions asked by Nicodemus, a Jewish rabbi, who is interested in Jesus’ teaching, the Lord explains the way to eternal life.

What does it mean to be a born-again Christian: at www.gotquestions.org website. You can carefully examine the evidence in Scripture and follow the advice to become a born from above child of God and a follower of Christ, by following the advice in this article. If you accept Christ after reading their page you can ask for more guidance online through a live chat or browse their questions and answers section. You can also request a booklet for new believers which they will mail to you.

“How to be born again” at Billy Graham’s site. Billy Graham was a famous preacher. He is sometimes criticized for holding universalist views. In an interview once he stated: “Everybody who loves Christ, or knows Christ, whether they are conscious of it or not, are members of the Body of Christ…”  How can you know Christ without being conscious of it? How can you be a member of the Body of Christ without participating in it? Yet, we link to his website as he is one of the most famous evangelists of the 20th century.

“How to be born again (with pictures)”, at wikihow.org. Interesting enough, the pictures show only women, but this should not be a deterrent to men to check out this page. Good verses are quoted, yet somewhat unorganized and the pictures are rather distracting. But that should not stop a true seeker.

Born Again: How to be Saved, at CBN.com, a Christian TV network, offers a detailed article answering the question in the title. Supported by Scripture passages and sample prayer for you to pray. They address where the phrase “born again” came from.

The Gospel: Repent, Be Saved, Be Born Again, at Vincent ten Bouwnhuis Ministries. A Very detailed article offering clearly explained and Bible supported 7 steps and a sample prayer for the sinner to pray to repent and accept the Lord.

You can also do your own search by typing “how to become a born-again Christian” or “how to be saved by Christ.”  The benefit of following the links above is that I have written a very brief review for each and these are well-respected ministries, which will not lead you astray on this specific subject.

After you have committed your life to Christ and have become one of His disciples you may want to consider some of the links below.
